Dedications

First and foremost, ASD Nest would not have come to life if it weren’t for the unwavering and constant support, encouragement, and guidance from my Georgia State University (GSU) faculty mentor, Dr. Yi-An Chen, and my two site mentors, Ms. Allison Bascas, OTR/L and Ms. Shelley Carnes, OTR/L during my capstone experience. I greatly admire and highly respect all three, loving and intelligent women. I thank all three of you from the bottom of my heart for greatly and positively impacting my journey as a future occupational therapist.

I want to thank my family and friends for their love, support, and for always being my rock. Their love was especially needed and appreciated during my graduate school experience as they remained my constant throughout.

I dedicate my website, ASD Nest, to all multicultural families of Autistic children that feel unheard, under-represented, and that lack the support that they need and rightfully deserve. This website was developed and curated for these families specifically. We hear you, and we are here for you.
